Dying Pasta for Projects

{ADD YOUR COMMENTS}

Posted in: CraftsApril 24, 2009

Here is a simple and easy way to dye pasta to use later in projects such as pasta necklaces, border of a picture frame, or collages! Thanks to Frugal Family Fun I found these easy directions that lead to great colored pasta that is bright and colorful!

Ingredients:

  • Uncooked pasta such as ziti, penne, wagon wheels, or macaroni
  • White vinegar
  • Food coloring

Directions:

To a glass bowl, add one large handful of pasta, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, and 4-5 drops of food coloring. Stir very well, and allow to dry on paper plates.
