In this post: types of products used to remove , my top picks of removers for the face.. eyes.. and brushes, how to use these prodcuts
What is a Remover? removers are specially designed products to remove different components without scrubbing and potentially damaging the skin. Water and soap sometimes are not sufficient to remove deeply from skin pores.
Products to use to Remove :
- For the Face: Most commonly in the form of a gel or liquid typically applied with a cotton ball or soft cloth, and gently rubbed over the face. Cleansing pads and towelettes are also used that are already pre-saturated with cleanser, and are simply rubbed over the face and thrown away. Both can be equally effective, but cleansing pads may be more convenient and quick removal.
- For the Eyes: Usually oil based and commonly in the form of a liquid. Keep in mind that you may need two different types of remover, one for your face and one for your eyes. Since your eyes are usually more sensitive and skin is the thinest and most delicate, you may need a gentler product than what you would put on your face. Don’t use any remover for the face or for the eyes without testing it on a small area of skin first.
For the Brushes: Bacteria and dirt can collect and form on facial brushes that we use everyday. keeping them clean will not only help preserve the brushes for long use, but also keep our face clean and healthy. Also when brushes are clean or previous product, you will get a better application and product penetration to the face rather than clinging to previous product left on the brush.
