My Thoughts On Formula: NARS nail polish wears a solid week on me. I usually have polish chips and peeling at the tips of my nails by day two of any polish, and have to re-polish by mid-week. With NARS nail polish their formula wears BEST on my nails (with a base and without) and I know I dont have to worry about touch ups through the week.
More about theNARS Nail Polish Formula: An exclusive formula with technology designed to improve flexibility, durability, wear and gloss properties. This longwearing formula provides a tough, durable chip-resistant finish and also has added UV protection to prevent polish discoloration.
- Modern, sophisticated colors
- Gentle formula
- Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP free
My Thoughts On Color: I think that Desperado is such a unique color, I have seen nothing like this by any other polish brand. At first glance GOLD is the color that comes to mind, but the more you consider what else the eye catches you being to describe possible burnt yellow olive. This applys as a sheer color, my phots above are of two coats could have done three if for a more solid
When buying any cosmetic product I always consider if I have any other color/version similar in my collection, I also consider if there is a “cheaper” dupe version by another company. So when reviewing this product I knew I didn’t have anything like it because to me I would not have the urge to put this color on my nails.
