PROS & CONS of BOTH Palettes
(PROS)
- Very inexpensive so great for those on a budget and start exploring
- Great color variety for soft neutral shades
- Variety of finishes (matte, satin, shimmery, frost)
- Comes with highlighters as well as some darker colors and a black
(CONS)
- Not as highly pigmented as high-quality shadows (, Nars, etc..)
- Lasting power of these eyeshadows is not comparable to high end shadows
About the 88 Warm :
A of 88 Eyeshadows inside a black matte case. This has 42 matte shades and 46 shimmer/pearl shades all neutral/warm tones hence the name “warm “.
Great for everyday looks on all skin tones, bridal , smokey eye, as well as day to night looks. Each is roughly the size of a dime.
This is perfect for those who just like neutral everyday looks and an occasional smokey eyes with easy to work with colors all in one at your fingertips.
About the 28 Natural :
The 28 Neautral is similar to the 88 Warm , although this offers 28 shades in a LARGER pan size. This is said to have more “ Dupes” than the 88 Warm . What is a “ Dupe” you ask? A Dupe is a product that is similar or comparable to another, for example a Dupe would be a product/color similar to what carries. Whats nice about finding a Dupe is well for 1) The dupe is usually cheaper, and 2) If want a specific product/color from that is out of stock or discontinued, find a dupe that is similar! A lot of cosmetic companies are now creating more and more dupes from all sorts of lines which is great for those on a budget.
My Overall Thoughts:
Both of the palettes has the perfect combination of matte and shimmer eye shadows that allow you to create different looks with various colors to choose from. All colors in the palettes are easily wearable for all skin tones and are subtle enough to wear everyday. Pigment of these colors are easy to work with and blend nicely, they adhere to the lid as desired as long as you are using a proper primer/base. Some CONS to both of these palettes are they are not as high quality as other over the counter eyeshadows. The case the eyeshadows are in is fairly cheap and a low quality plasticly feel. If you are not careful the eyeshadows have a tendency to pop our of its origin when dropped or shaken. Although they can be easily glued back in or transferred to another . The eyeshadows tend to be more chalky and feel like the consistency of a loose powder but still deliver substantial color pigment. Overall a great buy.
