The majority of the food cards are permanent cart locations that stay put. A popular area to dine at a numerous collection of Food Carts is on… which is walking distance of Portland State University.

Re-purpose used baby food jars and organize your spice cabinet with a crafty spin that is cute and organized.

Using old baby food jars that are personally decorated, labeled, and attached to the fridge with a magent adds an artful touch to the kitchen and is visibly useful which makes finding spices easy.

One of my favorite bloggers who I have been following for a few years now is Amanda over at KevinandAmanda.com just made a visit to Oregon (my homewotn). Amanda made the trip last week from her hometown Alabama with another blogger “BusyMommy.com” from Iowa.

Amanda is well known for providing hundreds of FREE Scrapbooking Fonts and Fonts for Peas which is Handwriting Fonts all from visitors who emailed their handwriting sample to her and she turned it into a font!

My best friend Ashley at joshandashleysworld.com bought a voucher on livingsocial which is similar to Groupon for a local bar offering a Martini and Manicure during Happy Hour! What can get more girly than a chilled martini while getting polish?
Happy Hour wasn’t until 5pm so we stopped off at a few places in Portland we have heard good buzz about.

I recenlty disvoered . TOMS are simple, canvas design slip on shoes that has become recently popular on many city streets. The graphics are retro bold with an early 90′s feel. Somehow, I’ve noticed everybody from soccer moms to unemployed young people sporting the shoes. And I see why – they’re cute, practical, and match most outfits also available in Mens and Youth sizes. Second most important about is not only do consumers purchase these comfy shoes and get to wear them in leisurely style, but with every shoe purchase TOMS sends a pair to a child in need in countries such as Africa, Ethiopia, and Haiti. In 2006 sent 10,000 pairs of shoes!

I decided to get the “classic” Black Women’s Glitter TOMS ($54). The glitter is also available in sliver and pink.
I have heard to order a size down from your regular shoe size because the canvas material tends to strech as you wear. But with the sparkly TOMS the material is a litter bit more study and do not stretch as much so I stuck with my original size. 9.5
Im interested in seeing how these hold up. I would like to wear them everyday to work because of their comfy in sole to added support. I have heard of other buyers big toe popping out in the front yikes!

They also have wedges which I am eyeing next..
