Spring Bird Craft

{3 comments}

Posted in: CraftsApril 4, 2009

Today I wanted to make something that was spring inspired so I free handed a Spring Bird and cut out all pieces to make as my template. We used blue construction paper for the body and head, a lighter teal color for the wing, and yellow for the beak

and feet. The bird’s eye is a button the was found at the bottom of the craft bin and definitely adds a nice touch.

Supplies:

  • Blue,Teal,Yellow construction paper OR any decorative paper will do
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil to outline bird
  • Button or Google eye

Directons:

1. Free hand draw with a pencil the body, head, and one wing.

2. Cut out bird parts and trace on to desired paper

3. Glue all pieces together

4. Add button for the eye
